Know Your Blood Pressure With The Push Of A Button
You don't always have to go to your doctor's office to have your blood pressure checked. A home blood pressure test allows
you to keep track of your blood pressure at home. This is especially important if your doctor recommends that you monitor
your blood pressure on a regular basis.
Measuring Principle Oscillometric Method:
The monitor detects your blood movement through your brachial artery and converts the movements into a digital reading.
An oscillometric monitor does not need a stethoscope, so the monitor is simple to use.
Measurement Range:
Pressure 0~299 mmHg (0~39.9kPa)
Pulse 40~199 pulses/min
Memory function 2x90 groups memory 90 records
Power source (4) AA alkaline battery DC.6V or AC adapter (batteries and adapter not
included)
Includes monitor, adjustable cuff and instruction manual
Blood Pressure Is Recorded As Two Measurements:
The first number is the systolic pressure.
Systolic pressure represents the peak blood pressure that occurs when the heart contracts.
The second number is the diastolic pressure.
Diastolic pressure represents the lowest blood pressure that occurs when the heart relaxes between beats.
These two pressures are expressed in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) because the original devices that measured blood
pressure used a column of mercury. Blood pressure measurements are recorded as systolic/diastolic (systolic over diastolic).
For example, if your systolic pressure is 120 mm Hg and your diastolic pressure is 80 mm Hg, your blood pressure is recorded
as 120/80 (120 over 80).
